The Leading Digital Strategy Programme, delivered through Made Smarter South East in partnership with the University of East Anglia, has been developed for business leaders and managers who want to harness technology, strengthen leadership capability and drive sustainable growth.
The programme combines in-person masterclasses, online webinars, industry case studies and innovation visits, providing practical support for organisations looking to develop a clear digital strategy and roadmap for change. Participants will gain insights into topics including artificial intelligence, automation, digital manufacturing, systems integration, leadership, talent development and organisational change.
Businesses taking part will learn how to:
- Assess digital readiness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop a practical digital transformation roadmap.
- Build leadership skills to guide teams through change.
- Improve productivity, quality, customer value and operational performance.
- Explore emerging technologies including AI, digital twinning and automation.
The programme is particularly relevant for manufacturing businesses, engineering firms and product makers, including creative businesses that design and produce physical products.
Participants will also have opportunities to learn from peers, hear from industry experts, visit innovation facilities and receive a certificate of completion from the University of East Anglia upon successful completion of the programme.
Cohorts will begin in January 2027, with a mixture of in-person workshops in London and online learning sessions running through February.
