The Sussex and Brighton Strategic Authority is a new public body working across all of Brighton and Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex to drive economic growth. From 2028 it will be led by a new elected Mayor as is already the case in much of the country such as London or Greater Manchester.
It will have responsibilities over transport, planning, skills, business support, policing and other areas. It will work with councils and other partners to develop a strategic vision for how to grow all of Sussex and Brighton.
That work starts with a Prosperity Strategy setting out the vision which will be published in the Autumn.
To help get business insight into the Prosperity Strategy and provide a chance for businesses to understand what the Authority is and how it might be able to help, the Authority is hosting a pair of webinars for businesses in Sussex and Brighton.
They will take place on:
- 13 July 12-1pm
- 19 August 1-2pm
If you would like to attend, please email enquiries@sussexandbrighton-cca.gov.uk and you will be sent an invite.
