Sussex Bay has published its second annual report, celebrating two years of progress with hundreds of partners, communities and supporters working together across 100 miles of coastline to help restore nature, support coastal communities and build a healthier future for the region’s 1.7 million residents.
Published alongside Sussex Bay’s wider suite of publications, the report highlights the progress made since the programme’s launch, from practical nature restoration and community-led activity to new partnerships, research and innovative projects designed to support a thriving coast and sea.
The report also looks ahead to the next phase of work, including opportunities for more people to get involved in shaping the future of nature, people, place and prosperity across Sussex.
Sussex Bay is a regional collaboration working across the sea, coast and rivers from Selsey Bill to Camber Sands. Through research, community collaboration and practical projects, the programme is testing ways to restore nature at scale while supporting thriving coastal communities and sustainable local economies.
