Businesses across Brighton & Hove and Sussex are being encouraged to take advantage of free expert support, practical advice and international networking opportunities as part of International Trade Week (ITW) 2026, taking place from 9 to 13 November.
Organised by the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST), International Trade Week brings together businesses of all sizes and sectors to help them start, grow and succeed in international markets. Now in its sixth year, the nationwide programme offers access to export specialists, industry experts and valuable business connections.
The week-long programme includes around 50 online learning sessions through the Business Academy, one-to-one support via the Export Support Hub, practical Export Action Planning workshops, and opportunities for businesses to connect directly with international buyers through the Great British Pitch: Europe event.
A flagship event, Exporting Horizons: Innovation for Growth, will be held in Manchester on 9 November, bringing together business leaders and export experts for a day of networking, workshops and practical advice on international trade.
Exporting can help businesses increase sales, access new markets and strengthen resilience. International Trade Week aims to make exporting more accessible by providing practical guidance and support for businesses at every stage of their export journey.
